Melissa Mercey

Melissa (Missy) Jean Mercey, 44, of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after long battle with cancer. 

Melissa was born May 5, 1979 in Springfield, Massachusetts to James Sr. and Sharon (McCarthy) Mercey. Melissa was a devoted mother of three boys, who loved watching tv, DIYS, shopping and most importantly spending her time with family and friends. She loved her fur babies Nyla and Simba. Melissa always had a smile on her face and welcome everyone with open arms. She loved helping people even when she could not. 

Melissa is predeced in death by her parents James and Sharon Mercey from  MA, her son Shane Ladjuane Ashmore from MA, her sister Doris Steffey from AK, and her brother Arthur Mercey from SC. Melissa is survived by a devoted fiance Angel Guzman from MA, her two son Dawaune Stylez Mercey, Lawrence Anthony Reyes from MA, four sisters Lisa Mercey her parneter Johnathan Gould, Rebecca Mercey, April Morrison her husband Ronjames Morrison from MA, Julia Larzas from AK, four brothers Richard Mercey from MA, Christopher Mercey his partner Amanda Lower from PA, James Mercey Jr from GA, Lee Mercey from CA, and many nieces and nephews. Melissa will always be loved and missed through so many!❤️
