Miguel Elicier

WORCESTER – Miguel A. Elicier, 70, beloved husband of Evelyn Navarro, passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family, on Monday, June 26, 2023. Born and raised in Canovanas, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Cecilio Elicier and Paula Rodriguez. Miguel left Puerto Rico in 1983 and emigrated to America. He began a long career as an autobody technician and was a broadcaster at Radio Metabel. He was a member of the Rock of Salvation Church in Worcester where he was the choir director. Miguel was known to have restored many old bicycles over the years. In his spare time Miguel was a talented base player and an avid Red Sox fan. He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife of 44 years, Evelyn; two daughters, Michelle Elicier and Yamaris Elicier; four sons, Anthony Elicier, several brothers and sisters; daughters-in-law; many grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 to 7 p. m. on Friday, June 30 at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A funeral service will be held at 10 a. m. on Saturday, July 1 in the funeral Home. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street, Worcester.
