NORTH OXFORD: Nancy I. (Reid) Williams, 71, of Clara Barton Rd, passed on to the Lord Friday, January 25, 2008, in her home, after a long illness. Her husband of over 30 years, James E. Williams, Sr. , predeceased her. She leaves 2 daughters, Brenda Corey and Becky Williams, both of Worcester; 3 sons, James E. Williams, Jr. of North Oxford, Jeffrey Williams of North Oxford, David Williams of West Rutland, VT; 3 sisters, Shirley Baily of Florida, Virginia L. Serface of Campbell, CA, Alberta J. Robinson of Worcester; 2 brothers, Ronald A. Reid of Burbank, CA, Allen H. Kerswell of Shelbyville, TN; 22 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 2 aunts, Gay Richards of Hinsdale, NH, Winnie Rondeau of Worcester, and her lifetime friend and sister-in-law, Marion Kerswell of Madera, CA. A daughter, Jamie Williams, a brother, Melvyn L. Kerswell, and a sister, Janice L. Mott, all predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Ronald F. Reid and Virginia L. (Lloyd) Reid Kerswell, and attended South High School. She lived in Las Vegas for many years before returning here in 2005. Nancy worked as a housekeeper at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas before she retired. She previously worked at Allstate Lighting in Worcester. She was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church. She was an avid movie and television fan, an active Bingo player, and very creative with drawing and arts and crafts. After cremation, a MEMORIAL SERVICE with her ashes will be held at 11 a. m. on Friday, Feb. 1, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , immediately followed by burial in Hope Cemetery.
