Nicholas Mitchell

WORCESTER: Nicholas Mitchell, 84, of 343 Hamilton St. , died Friday, October 13, 2006, in Clinton Hospital, after an illness. He leaves four sons, David Mitchell of Worcester, Jerry Cox of St. Louis, MO, Derek Mitchell of Rochester, NY, Darrin Mitchell of Philadelphia, PA; a daughter, Carol Adde of Santa Clarita, CA; a brother, Albert Mitchell of Shrewsbury; a sister, Eva Zuspann of Worcester; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Mary Covotta, Ellen Patterson, and a brother, Mike Mitchell, all predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Abdow and Rachel (Haddad) Mitchell and was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II. Nicholas worked as a building construction contractor in the Worcester area for many years. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 10 a. m. on TUESDAY, October 17, in ST. GEORGE ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL, 30 Anna St. , followed by burial in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours. KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , is assisting the family with arrangements.
