WORCESTER: Paul G. Donahue, 59, a resident of Brockton, formerly of Hadwen Lane in Worcester, died peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2006, in Brockton Hospital, after a brief illness. He leaves a son, Greg Donahue and his wife Carrie of Sandwich; a daughter, Colleen Donahue of New York City; a brother, Atty. Thomas J. Donahue, Jr. and his wife Rosie of West Boylston; a sister, Helen W. Reidy and her husband Frederick of Tampa, Fla. ; two grandchildren, Kate and Jack Donahue of Sandwich; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was born in 1946 and raised in Worcester, son of the late Thomas J. Donahue, Sr. and Ann R. (McGregor) Donahue. He graduated from Worcester Classical High School and Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. In 1979, Paul and his wife Carole, moved his family to Falmouth, Cape Cod and opened Donahue's Village Grocery, a thriving mom and pop grocery store, which was the focal point of the village of Teaticket for many years. He previously worked as a teacher at St. Peter's Central Catholic High School in Worcester. Paul enjoyed golfing, fishing, Florida, Boston sports, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. CALLING HOURS are 4 to 7 p. m. , Sunday, June 18, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , Worcester. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 a. m. on Monday, June 19, in BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH, 555 Pleasant St. , Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
