WORCESTER: Phyllis A. (Burchill) McDade, 86, formerly of Worcester, died Sunday, May 13, 2007, at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton, after a long illness. Her husband of almost 30 years, John M. McDade, died July 3, 1973. A daughter, Constance E. McDade, died December 15, 2005. Three brothers and four sisters all predeceased her. She leaves two daughters, M. Paddie Hunt and her husband Richard of Littleton, Nancy E. Manning of Las Vegas; a grandson, Patrick M. Manning of Las Vegas; and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Samuel and Gertrude (Quinlan) Burchill. She moved to Worcester in 1953. Phyllis was a clerk at The Mart department store for 10 years, before she retired. She was a former member of Blessed Sacrament Church and loved playing Bingo and knitting. A CALLING HOUR will be held from 11:15 a. m. to 12:15 p. m. on Wednesday, May 16, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , followed by a FUNERAL MASS at 1 p. m. in BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH, 555 Pleasant St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
