Pynkie Love Sellers

Pynkie Love Sellers, formally Billie Jean Burton, of Worcester, passed away on January 18, 2025, after a long battle with respiratory disease at St. Vincent Hospital. She was 49 years old.

 Pynkie was born in Salem, New Jersey on June 23, 1975 and was the beloved adopted daughter of Richard and Patricia Burton. Pynkie was raised in Northborough and resided in Worcester for most of her adult life. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Christopher, all of whom were instrumental in her life. 

Pynkie leaves behind three sons, Devon Burton and his wife Cassie of Athol, Tyler George of Millbury, D’Artagnan George and wife, Amy of El Paso TX (where he’s stationed in the US Army), and daughter, Corinne. Grandchildren, Aubrey, Lilliana, Brooklyn and Michael. She also leaves her brother, Mark Burton and his wife Lori, her sister Selene Melanson, a nephew Thomas, and a niece, Amelia. Pynkie was engaged to marry Jeff O’Neil of Wareham, who she loved adventuring with. She also leaves behind many friends and her beloved dog, Bunnie. 

Pynkie loved the outdoors, especially being near water and going on hikes. She was extremely creative, having enjoyed writing poetry and painting in her youth. She loved a wide range of music and had a unique sense of style. She could be seen with colorful hair styles that often changed as well as driving her customized pink and green VW Beetle around Worcester. Pynkie took great pride in her jobs and enjoyed serving people, especially at Dunkin Donuts. Pynkie was loved by so many and will be missed dearly.

 A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at a future date.
