Raymond Gordon, Jr.

WEBSTER – Raymond J. Gordon, Jr. , passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Ray was born in Worcester and was the son of the late Raymond and Shirley (Mossa) Gordon. Ray attended Assabet Valley Regional Vocational High School. He lived in Florida for many years, enjoying a career as a heavy equipment operator. Ray married his high school sweetheart, Donna Burbo in 2019 while in Florida. They relocated back to Massachusetts in 2021 to be closer to their family. Raymond is survived by his wife, Donna Burbo of Worcester; his sister, Sandra Hunting of Alstead, NH; his two brothers, Steven Salmi of Warren and Michael Gordon of Holden; his four stepchildren and six grandchildren whom he loved very much; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Peggy Marango. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
