Richard Crozier

On January 13, 2025, Richard "Rick" C. Crozier Jr. passed away peacefully in his home in Gardner, MA. 

Rick was born and raised in Gardner, the son of the late Richard C. Crozier Sr. and Harriet J. (Depinet) Crozier and the former husband of the late Susan C. (Cormier) Bradford, also of Gardner. Rick was a graduate of Gardner High School and Mount Wachusett Community College where he earned an Associate Degree in Computer Programming. In Gardner, Rick was best known as the owner of "Rix Saloon" (present day "Gardner Ale House") that he ran along with his then wife Susan in the 70s. He later moved to Venice, Florida where he lived and worked as a Computer Programmer with Cott Systems for many years. Recently, Rick moved home to Gardner to be closer to his family. 

Rick was predeceased by his sister Marilou (Crozier) Phillips of Arizona. He leaves his sister Margaret (Crozier) LeBlanc and her husband Raymond LeBlanc of Venice, FL; daughter Sarah Crozier and her wife Deb Johnson of Putney VT, daughter Marilou Dashner of Gardner, son Richard Crozier III and his wife Lynn Crozier of Princeton, daughter Leslie Crozier of Lunenburg, son Benjamin Crozier and his husband Ethan Pearlstein of Randolph; and grandchildren, Luke Murtha, Hanna Crozier, Cole Dashner, Jackson Crozier and Aidan Dashner. 

The family plans to have a private burial service in the Spring at The Green Bower Cemetery in Gardner, followed by a memorial service. 

In lieu of flowers please make donations to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by Kelly Cremation & Funeral Care in Worcester.
