Robert D. Laflash

WORCESTER: Robert D. LaFlash, 77, of 34 Barclay St. , died Saturday, September 9, 2006, in his home, after an illness. His wife of 40 years, Virginia E. (Richter) LaFlash, died March 4, 1991. He leaves 3 sons, Robert D. LaFlash, Jr. of Arlington, TX, John A. LaFlash of Worcester, Michael L. LaFlash of Worcester; 9 daughters, Carol A. Vincent of Seabrook, NH, Brenda G. Wales-Loraine of Oxford, Sandra J. LaFlash of Dudley, Mary Ellen St. Onge of Warren, Jacqueline S. Condon of Spencer, Cheryl A. Heath of Oakham, Pauline M. Billings of Worcester, Donna M. Starr of Spencer, Rose Marie Covey of Baldwinville; a brother, Richard L. LaFlash of Spencer; 34 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his close companion, Josephine Baillargeon of Worcester. Two brothers, Ronald and Norman LaFlash, predeceased him. Bob was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Leo J. and Eva M. (Braconnier) LaFlash and attended Sacred Heart of Jesus School. He worked many years for Bozenhard Construction and previously worked for Northridge Furniture. He enjoyed fishing, candlepin bowling and was a member of the English Social Club. CALLING HOURS will be from 1 to 3 p. m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , followed by A FUNERAL SERVICE at 3 p. m. in the funeral home.
