WORCESTER: Robert E. Dubsky, 61, a retired Worcester Firefighter and lifelong city resident, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 20, 2005. His beloved wife of 29 years, Beverly A. (Fox) Dubsky, died in an automobile crash in 1998. He leaves his daughter, Laurie J. Dinsdale and her husband Keith of Dudley; his grandson, Timothy "Bob-shi's buddy" Dinsdale, his pride and joy; a brother, Richard Dubsky and his wife Rosalie of Auburn; a sister, Kathleen Lagacy and her husband Donald of Auburn; nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a close friend, Susan Desy of Worcester. A brother, Anthony Dubsky, Jr. , predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Anthony Dubsky, Sr. and Catherine (McGuirk) Dubsky. He graduated from North High School and New England School of Accounting. Bob retired from the Worcester Fire Department in 2002 after serving proudly for 27 years on Engines 16 and 9. He had also been an active member and former employee of St. Charles Borromeo Church. He was also a member of Worcester Firefighters Local No 1009, the Worcester Retired Police and Firefighters Association, and two bowling leagues at - The Zion Tuesday Night Social and The Greendale Retired Men's Club. CALLING HOURS will be held from 4 to 8 p. m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 a. m. on Friday, Dec. 23, in ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, 341 June St. , followed by burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
