Robert Johnson

Robert Jonathan Gary Johnson, 36, passed away May 20th, 2024. He was born December 19th, 1987 in Lebanon, OR, and raised in Aumsville, OR.

Robert graduated high school in 2005, received a Bachelers in Chemistry, from OSU (OR) in 2011, and a Doctorate in Inorganic Physical Chemistry from PSU (PA) in 2016. Most recently, he was working for Nano Lab in Waltham MA.

Robert was passionate about many things in addition to his love of learning. He enjoyed working with his hands and getting dirty. His free time was spent wood working, mushroom foraging, or researching something he found interesting. 

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Lorri Johnson; his wife and beloved daughter, Emily and Eliza Johnson, and numerous family. Robert also had many friends, reaching from his childhood home to clear across the world. He will be held in our hearts and forever missed.
