WEST BOYLSTON: Rosalyn M. âRoseâ (Krostosky) DePatsy, 82, of 36 Franklin St. , died peacefully in her home early Monday morning, September 24, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves four children, Sandra J. Army, Robert J. Daszuta, Sr. , Mark DePatsy and Scott DePatsy, Sr. , all of West Boylston; a sister, Janet Barrows and her husband Thomas of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, Sherry Robbins, Robert J. Daszuta, Jr. , Melanie Daszuta, Scott, Jr. , Matthew and Emily DePatsy; six great grandchildren, Garrett Robbins, Zane, Jackson, Scarlett, Oliviah and Rylie DePatsy; and three nephews, Thomas, Kevin and James Barrows, all of Atlanta, GA. She was born in Montague, MA, daughter of the late Roman and Mary (Rodovich) Krostosky and lived most of her life in this area. Rose was a West Boylston school bus driver for many years. She was a volunteer for 25 years at the former Calvary Retreat Center in Shrewsbury and a long time volunteer at West Boylstonâs Beaman Memorial Public Library. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and the West Boylston VFW Post 6907 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed taking many day trips all over New England. The family would like to express their most heart felt thanks and gratitude to the staff of VNA Care Network & Hospice for their compassionate care. A Funeral Mass was held at the convenience of the family in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, followed by burial in Mount Vernon Cemetery. There were no calling hours.
