WORCESTER: Susan L. âSuziâ (Gosler) Simonti, 61, of Fruit St. , died at her home on Saturday, December 10, 2011, after a long illness. She leaves her daughter, Alicia L. Simonti of St. John, Virgin Islands; 4 sisters, Deborah Torrey and her husband Paul of Worcester; Donna Bessel and her husband Arthur of Holden, Patricia Duff and her husband Ray of Worcester, Willow Timbrel of Gabbs, NV; 5 brothers, Wayne Gosler of Baltimore, MD, Lewis P. Gosler, Jr. and his wife LeeAnn of Worcester, Dennis Gosler of Worcester, Philip Gosler and his wife Debra of Worcester, Brian Gosler of Worcester; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Lewis P. and Phyllis (Green) Gosler, and her birth mother Eileen M. Stanton. Suzi was a painter for Bowditch & Marinelli, Inc. for many years. She previously worked as a waitress and a personal care attendant. Before that, she worked at the former Sprague Electric. She was an avid Red Sox fan and also enjoyed gardening, music, reading and the arts. She spent the majority of her life loving and caring for animals, both domestic and wild. CALLING HOURS are 6 to 8 P. M. on THURSDAY, DEC. 15 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 A. M. on FRIDAY, DEC. 16 at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 353 Grove St. After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family.
