WORCESTER: Terry P. Slavin, 66, of 49 Pleasant Valley Dr. , died unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, January 22, 2011. He leaves his brother, Scott D. Slavinskas and his wife Gail of Worcester; a niece, Allison M. Slavinskas; two nephews, Jarrod and William Slavinskas; and several cousins. He was born in Allentown, PA, son of the late Joseph J. and Thelma A. (Purnell) Slavinskas and moved to Worcester over 50 years ago. He graduated from South High School in Worcester. Terry served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Terry worked as a custodian at Worcester City Hospital for many years. He later worked at UMass Memorial- University Campus until he retired. He was a member of the Masonic Temple in Worcester and achieved a 32nd degree Mason status. He enjoyed reading, playing cribbage and was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. A CALLING HOUR will be held from 9 to 10 A. M. on THURSDAY, JAN. 26 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , followed by A FUNERAL SERVICE at 10 A. M. in the funeral home.
