WORCESTER: Te Van Le, 78, of 5 Mount Vernon St. , died Monday, April 10, 2006, in University Commons Nursing Care Center, 378 Plantation St. , after a long illness. He leaves his wife of more than 50 years, Lien Kim Hoang; four sons, Thien Chi Le, Nhan Hoai Le, and Pastor Hiep Thai Le, all of Saigon, Vietnam, Nghia Trung Le of Worcester; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Vietnam, son of the late Ngoc Van Le and Ri Thi Pham. He moved to Worcester in 1994. Mr. Le served many years in the Vietnamese Army rising to the rank of Major. He was a member of the Vietnamese Assembly of God in Worcester. A CALLING HOUR will be from 7 to 8 p. m. Thursday, April 13, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , followed by a FUNERAL SERVICE at 8 p. m. in the funeral home. After cremation, burial will be in Vietnam.
