WORCESTER: Victoria M. Palumbo, 92, formerly of 18 Orne St, died Monday, October 23, 2006, in Lutheran Home of Worcester. She leaves 3 nieces, Kathleen M. Senior, Debby Coakley and Eloise Palumbo; 5 nephews, Dennis A. , Joseph P. and Richard J. Connole, Matthew J. and Thomas Palumbo. She also leaves several grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews. A sister, Mary "Micky" Connole and two brothers, Matthew and Angelo Palumbo, all predeceased her. She was born March 24, 1914 in Monte Sanangelo, Province of Foggia, Italy, daughter of Antonio and Lucia (Guerra) Palumbo and moved here when she was 4 months old. She graduated from Commerce High School and attended Ward Business School. Vicky worked as a hairdresser in Worcester area beauty salons for 33 years until retiring in 1987. She was a longtime member of St. Bernard's Church. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. The family would like to express their most sincere thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Lutheran Home for the wonderful care they provided Auntie Vi. A CALLING HOUR will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a. m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. , followed by a FUNERAL MASS at 11 a. m. in ST.
