Warren Macdonald

Warren Earl MacDonald, at the age of 76, passed away at his home in Rutland, MA on Thursday,November 9, 2023.Warren was born September 16, 1947 to Herbert & Veronica MacDonald.  He was the one of six children.  He graduated South High in Worcester and attended Worcester State College.Warren made his way out west on his motor bike and settled in California in search of great opportunities. He eventually found his place as an aerospace laser assembler where he met his wife. "I couldn't take my eyes off of her".  Warren married Mary Lou and inherited three kids.  It was a package deal! Warren loved spending time with his family going on family adventures, attending air shows and supporting his kids' activities.  After so many years, Warren picked up roots with Mary Lou in hand and headed back to Massachusetts to be closer with his siblings.  Warren's marriage and relationship to Mary Lou stood the test of time until the very end.Warren loved reading books, had a fond interest in photography and a keen passion for genealogy/ancestry.  He genuinely was a helpful individual.  Warren cared for life and wanted to share that with all who he came across.  His wit and knowledge were essential in the make up of his character.In Warren's last months, he was essentially cared for at Rose Monahan Hospice Home and in his last weeks Warren was made exceptionally comfortable at his home with the attentive services of Laura's Guardian Angels. VNA Hospice nurses were also instrumental to his serenity.  Mary Lou remained by Warren's side tending to anything he needed until his bitter end.Warren is survived by his wife Mary Lou, kids; Antoinette V. Cardenas, Alexander and wife Gale Cardenas & grandsons Elijah & Noah, Archibald & wife Kristin Cardenas, and pet Malou.  Additionally, Warren is cherished by his siblings Herbert MacDonald, Jeannette Ward, Linda Bonin, Madeline Davenport, Pamela Westerlind and husband Philip Westerlind.
