WORCESTER: William M. Ballon, 66, formerly of Rock Ave, died Friday, January 9, 2015 at The Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Marlborough, after a long illness. He leaves three sisters, Shirley A. Thompson of Denmark, SC, Carol P. May of Falmouth, Mary R. Ballon-Trudeau of Worcester; a brother, James K. Ballon of Oxford; and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Walter S. and Loretta R. (Larner) Ballon and lived here most of his life. Billy had worked in the construction industry and as a computer technician until being injured in a car accident in Phoenix many years ago. He enjoyed rock & roll oldies music and trivia. There are no calling hours. Cremation will be at Rural Crematory. The family suggests donations in memory of Billy be made to the Patients Activities Fund at The Reservoir, 400 Bolton St. , Marlborough, MA 01752.
