WORCESTER: William T. Glynn, 84, of 7 Goucher Ave. , died peacefully with his family by his side, Monday, October 4, 2004, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. His beloved wife of 49 years, Phyllis M. (Gray) Glynn, died in 1997. He leaves a nephew, Arthur W. Ordway of Worcester; a niece, Ann M. Morgera of Worcester; several grandnieces and grandnephews. A brother, Francis E. Glynn and two sisters, Katherine E. Ordway and Helen A. Shannon, all of Worcester, predeceased him. Bill was born in Worcester, son of the late Francis M. and Anna C. (Nelson) Glynn and was an Army Veteran of World War II. He served in the Pacific Theatre where he saw action in New Guinea. He worked many years as a supervisor at Crompton & Knowles. He later worked several years at Riley-Stoker and at Wyman-Gordon Company before he retired. He was an avid reader, a fan of the New England Patriots and loved vacationing in Maine and Cape Cod. A CALLING PERIOD will be held from 8:15 a. m. to 9:15 a. m. Thursday, Oct. 7, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. followed by a FUNERAL MASS at 10 a. m. in BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH, 555 Pleasant St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
